The eighth year of Heritage Days of Mendocino County is happening this year from April 29 through May 29, 2011. Last year, we expanded Heritage Days to cover the entire county, so there were many new sponsors, venues, and events. In 2011, we are adding material about the Native Americans of the area.

Some of our organizers have auspicious anniversaries this year:

•   • 100 Years for Fort Bragg Library
•   • 100 Years for Fort Bragg-to-Willits Run on California Western Railroad
•   • 50 Years for the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens
